Bows and bears are the right combination as stated above, but I am at the point of being tired of bears. My farms down east are covered up in them and they are destructive. Pop up blinds will be destroyed in just a matter of hours, and hard sided blinds are constantly bitten and torn up.

Nice bear also,my bear weighed 300-325 lbs. It looks bigger than it is,but I'm very happy with it.
I could see doing this hunt every couple of years if it was possible,hopefully I'll get another chance to go.

They all look bigger in the pics, even brown bears. Congratulations - 300 lb is well above average.
