Firing pin correction

I have a Remington clone action and the firing pin protrusion on the bolt face is off center.
It really does not shoot very constant groups.

Does anyone have any experience with bolt reitting of the firing pin.

Can anyone provide the name of a smith that does this work?

May I ask how you determined the firing pin is not centred in the firing pin?
Did you disassemble the bolt and spin up all the parts after indexing them off the centreline?

Bushing may/may not fix this issue.

If it's a reputable company, they should replace the bolt with one that is truly centered and you shouldn't have to pay someone for a faulty component. With that said there may be other issues if the primer strike is off center, especially if the gun doesn't shoot well. I have seen where the gunsmith didn't center the chamber, in either case I would take it to a different gunsmith and have him verify that the receiver/barrel alignment is correct, he should also be able to verify the pin location in the bolt.
