Finally got this one together!

Not sure how I managed to get the picture sideways but here it is. Frame is an easy open Contender with SSK Krome finish, barrel is a 10 twist MGM octagon chambered in .30 Reece and the furniture is from Bullberry. I topped with a 2.5-8 Leupold pistol scope in Talley rings and base. I have yet to shoot it but it's been a long time coming together!

30 Reece developed by Carson Reece around 1982. 38 special +P brass necked down to 30 cal. Carson says he originally developed it for shooting squirrels. Miser on powder, easy on recoil, enjoyable to shoot, and good accuracy.

A 14" barrel can get the 110's up around 2100 or a little better and as mjshell said, very good accuracy. 150 grain bullets can get pretty close to 2000.

My barrel is throated for 150s. I just started load development and have not chrony'd any rounds yet. However, Carson provided me with his detailed load manual showing his fps obtained on barrels from 10" to carbine length. Mine is a 15" tube.

The grip is an Otter but with a Bullberry forend. They match fairly well
