Fed 205MAR primer question

What is the difference between the GM205M and the GM205MAR small rifle primers? Would think totally interchangeable for all small rifle applications.

Better or worse then say CCI 450 or CCI 41

I'd Back off the powder charge and work back up and test but **** $90-$110 a brick is a little steep if they don't work.

Think the GM205MAR primer is a bit thicker for AR use to help prevent slam fire in AR type rifles. If a guy had really light firing pin strike, might not always go off. They're both still match grade ignition.

Same primer, little different cup. No difference in burn.

They work great. We use them quite extensively in service rifle ARs. My guess most military marksmanship units use them.
