Extended langth mag for savage 116

My mag length is only 3.5". Dose someone make a longer mag for this action? My gun is a LRM now and I am putting a new barral on it and am thinking of chambering it in 28 nosler but my mag length is not long enough.

Yes it is, it's heat treated differently than the standard large shank magnum actions to account for the higher pressures of the Lapua cartridge. Obviously the bolt head is different as well.

Depending on the model and magazine system, the .338s use Accurate-Mag/AICS CIP length magazines.

use accurate mag bottom metal with 300 win mag 3.850 three shot magazine will let you load to 3.750 - 3.770 col. you will need to open up feed lips slightly to feed properly.
