Hi everyone,
The name's Bill, I'm 28 and I've only been shooting with friends once and I'm hooked. I was able to shoot a couple 22's, AR-15, 870 Express, and a Glock 26 .40. In about 4 months I'll have the money to buy a rifle with a nice scope. Ihave to say it was a little weird being left handed but all in all it was still fun. I would also like to start hunting one day.
I've talked to a few other people and some other forums (Sniper's Hide and TheHighRoad) also with co-workers and friends and I have my eye on the Savage 16 FHSS in .308 with either a Leupold MK-4 4-14-50mm or a Vortex Viper PST 4-16-50mm FFP. This set up seems like a pretty good one for my budget (around $2k).
I open to suggestions, which is one of the reasons I'm waiting until September to purchase one.
