Duracoat SPS stock?

Will Duracoat work OK on an SPS stock? I'd like to give it a coat of flat OD green rather than the black.

Why use good duracoat on a tupperware stock? spray it with regular rattle-can krylon and if it chips off a little, give it another squirt
