Drew a Non resident NV archery bull tag. 072-074

Finally I drew a bull tag as a non resident. Only took my about 10 years, problem is I also drew a Wyoming Moose tag after 19 years. Has anyone every hunted 072-074 for elk and can give me some tips? It would be much appreciated. Season is pre rut, Aug 15-31. So hot temps.

I've hunted that area a couple of times. The best thing to do is go into the wilderness area, South East of Jarbridge. There are no vehicles allowed in most of that area, so it doesn't get a lot of hunter pressure. If your in the shape to put in some miles on foot, you should have a good chance at shooting a good bull.

I agree with PBurton. That are is he is referring to is great. Very tough terrain but with horses if you have access it will make it a lot better.
