Defective Sinclair Hex Comparitor?

Was reading on site that the Hex Comparitor was great too to use to check bullet engagement (after using the Hornady Lock-N-Load OAL). Watched the video, but thought I'd check on some out of the box factory loads. Every bullet, every caliber, bottoms out on the comparitor... 223, 308, 338. Even using a 338 bullet, it stops at the first crimp ring. Tried contacting Sinclair, but no response at all.

Opinions?

If you have a set of gage pins, inside micrometer, bore gage, etc. It would be worth it to measure, tool wear does happen, and with production runs, usually only batch QC is performed, or they'll check the first couple on a run and then unknowingly let it drift.

theyll warranty it.. send email with pictures maybe just stamped at wrong index or the other model slipped into that bin prior to stamping .. either way i bet that one is not the only one

you can still use it less one caliber and do same thing ..
