Deer heads on Tongue and Groove walls?

Whats the best way to display deer heads in a basement with only 8' walls? I'm thinking t&g. Thoughts?

I had tongue & grove walls in a previous home and really liked it. I installed the t&g at a 45* angle and stained it with a transparent grey w/ blue accents. Just rubbed it on with rags.

I placed each head staggered on the studs to insure they were secure. The results were very attractive.

I recently saw a project where the guy mixed in corrugated metal with chair rail and then T&G where he placed the heads. I have looked everywhere to find that pic and so far all I am doing is driving myself crazy trying to find that one pic. Oh yeah, its also a short drive for me lately.

I am also waiting to see it so I can forget where I saw it.

If you can plan for it, throw some backing in where you hang em. Extra insurance and you don't have to search around for a stud.
