Deer and 77 SMK w cannelure

A good friend mentioned his experiences w a cannelure was it held together on coyote and deer.
Anyone else?

I have seen multiple posts on other forums of people using them on Deer and wild pigs. The pigs are tougher animals than deer and they were cleanly killing them.
I have loaded up some in my 220 Swift but have never been able to connect one with a coyote. I'm sure at the Swift velocity they might come apart.
