Daily squirrel limit

Got my limit of squirrels today. Was about to leave with 5 and stopped to take a picture, heard the leaves shaking and was able to get full limit of 6. All fox squirrels.

Been tuff in my timber have absolutely no water on the place first time in 25 years squirrels must of moved to neighbors haven’t seen very many where usually it’s loaded. David

It’s a Remington 552 Speedmaster. Got it from a friend in trade for a few boxes of handgun shells a few years ago. The fore end was broken when I got it so I replaced it with the BDL style and it’s been just fine functionally. Probably the best deal I’ve ever been involved with.

The scope is a Leupold VX-1 rimfire 2-7

Looks like you got the better end of the deal unless they were 460 S&W shells. 😁

Can’t hunt fox squirrels where I’m at, they’re protected for some reason. I have one living in my front yard and he always looks twice the size of the normal ones. How do they taste, same as a normal one? Figure you’ll get a bunch more meat off them. Good shooting!
