I am having a hard time finding rings that with work with my leupold vx1 3-9x50 and my cz 557 varmint 308. My 4-12x40 leupold wouldnt work as I was looking into the top of the eye peice rather than the crosshairs. The cheek piece is very high, much higher than than any that Ive seen other than adjustable. Not sure why anyone would ever want it this high but now i own it so im trying to deal with it. Any recommendations for mounting solutions for a regular leupold 40mm or 50mm scope? All of my scopes are leupold 40 or 50mm. I really dont want to have to sand down the turkish walnut but i also dont want my line of sight to be 2 inches over the barrel which is what it feels like.

Unless you have a fat face and can go on a diet you are kinda stuck using higher rings lol.
You can easily ADD to a comb, subtracting is another thing. The only way I could see to fix this with your current stock is to cut some off of stock or run the scope higher. The other option is to get a new stock.

I'm going to need at least a 100 mm objective on this thing to make it look decent

I have been making my own stocks for this reason lately. Add in Cost, wait and lack of availability for savage LA and I just cobble stuff together out of laminate that fits me and is unique. I would guess that the easiest way would be a new stock.

CZ makes taller mounts, call them. Your only other choice would be to modify the stock or find another stock neither of which are good options.
