Just finished this one. Nostalgia build on a Pre-64 CRF. Customer wanted a newer Supergrade stock style on the pre-64 build. Pulled a nice Walnut blank and went to work.

Mr. Russo, as usual a fine exhibit if your craftsmanship. Keep them coming.

If I could afford wood like that, I might quit synthetic. What caliber?

Thanks gents~

This blank was surprisingly affordable, and if memory serves me correctly, it was around the $700 mark.

Chambered in .30-06.

Shortgrass, what's a remchester? Sorry, I Dont mean to get off topic from the OPs amazing work. You just sparked my curiousity.

I just fixed the problem that this thread, and others, were having with a certain individual.

Thank you Sir!

Now we can just admire and enjoy the masterpiece(s) in peace.

I'm not going to be able to take this much longer. That is incredible! I have the exact same rifle (less the stock of course). Mine was built in 1953 and is kinda tired. You are tempting me nearly to the point where it don't matter how mad she gets. :D
