Well, after a year, my coyote rig has finally arrived. It is a 22-243 R.R. Aluminum tensioned 1-8tw barrel. Looking forward to getting time to get some load development done.

The 22-243 loaded with 75gr HPBT, strait 22-243 loaded with a 75gr, then 80gr SMK, and 22-250 loaded with 75gr.

Sweet rig man!

I'm not that familiar with the aluminum tensioning... please expound...? Pros and cons of aluminum tensioning vs a carbon fiber wrapped barrel?

What's the weight on your rig?

What velocities are you shooting for with the 75-80 grain poppers?

As it sits with a 1" dia. 26" long barrel, it is right around 12 lbs. I don't have velocities yet, but expected is 3600-3800. Pros and cons: not sure that is just what the smith used. He claims it looses heat faster. Who knows.

I'm still debating about painting it. What ya'll think?
