I have for sale one (1) Cooper model 56 with 26" fluted barrel and options as shown on the end of the box in photo. It is unfired except for the factory test. Unfortunately the test target is the only thing missing. Original outer & inner boxes, manual included - in like new condition. This model is now discontinued and ran about $ 1000 more than a 52 when new. Priced at $ 2250.00 plus actual shipping and insurance. Thanks for looking!

What's the weight?
What's the story on why you are selling?
Per original Cooper specs, about 8.4 lbs. Not a lightweight despite the fluted barrel and bolt. I'll try to get it on some scales this evening to check.
Thinking of upgrading my 300 PRC and this one isn't getting used.

Unorthodox, but here goes - 196.0 lbs. = Cooper, iPhone and me. 187.6 lbs. = IPhone and me. That adds up to an 8.4 lb. Cooper rifle - right on their specs.
Scales would not weight rifle alone - takes more than 15 lbs. to register.

What is the twist rate?
I would say 1:9 as that is what Cooper lists as typical for 7 Rem mag.

im not to up on Cooper is it mag or trap door?
Magazine - style. 3 rounds I believe. Essentially flush with stock on bottom.
