I been doing a lot of measuring. I will be putting a Ziess conquest hd 5 2-10x42 on this gun. Seems Medium Talleys will work but maybe a tad high. The lows should work. But it is guess with the penny trick and a Nikon 42 mm scope which is close to the same size as the ziess. Bolt seems like it should function. I just wished someone stocked Talleys in the St.Paul, Mn area or within 50 miles. Make things easier. I just want to make sure I order the right mounts. I do have a couple sets of Warnes I been debating to buy bases for. But not so easy to find either. Anyone have a similar setup and what rings did you go with. Or anyone put one together?

I haven't worked on that combination. I would use modeling clay to lay up the scope, then measure the height exactly.

I would also lap those Talley LW rings because they are not round.
