Compact front bipod rail ??????

Does anyone know of a truly compact bipod rail? I'm talking 1 picatiny cross slot. I have 2 inch rails on my rifles and still think it's 1.5 inches to much. I saw pictures once of a ultra compact front rail that I thought Hawkins made custom but haven't located them since.

I would call Dallas Lane of Lane Precision. I think he has Andy Hawkins make a one slot pic rail for him.
