Just curious what everyone uses to clean their muzzleloaders? I shoot sabots so I would have more of a plastic fowl problem then a copper problem. I currently use Remington stuff for plastic but just did not know if anyone had something better.

I use Simple Green, cheap and works like a charm. I follow it up with a patch soaked in WD-40 and leave that in for a couple of days then patch it out again and coat it with Bore Butter. Works for me!

I use Vinegar Windex(not ammonia based), cut 50% with Water. When clean, dry the bore and coat with Ballistol or other water displacing lube. 5 minute cleaning time.
