Just curious if anyone is concerned about false copper signs on their patches using standard brass jags? Specifically using Patch Out or Wipe Out .

Yes, it is a genuine concern. Not only the jags, but some nylon bore brushes have the brass ferrule which will also react with the solvent and leave blue residue on your patches no matter how clean the bore is. BoreTech jags and brushes are what I use exclusively.
 
Oh, yes, that can be a problem. I've been using the Tipton Ultra-jag to avoid this.
 
I also like the length of the Bore Tech jags in relation to some of the others.
 
If you use a brass jag you cannot use blue to indicate copper still in the bore bc of the jag.
