Christensen Mesa barrel removal

Has anyone removed a barrel on a CA Mesa? I have all the tools but have heard unverified reports that CA uses thread locker and other horror stories.

I'm thinking about buying one with the intention of getting a Remage barrel in another caliber for it. Can't seem to find a lot of real experience from anyone in the Googles.

Maybe go straight to the source and ask CA if they use thread locker. I doubt that they would. They may need to remove one themselves.

They come off easy, I have rebarreled 3 of them. No threadlocker, nothing like a tikka.

I did. They gave me a vague response about how they don't recommend taking off the barrel.

Figures, It will void the warranty for sure. Gun manufacturers never want anyone to do repairs, or replacements to their rifles other than themselves.I own two CA Ridgeline carbon barrel rifles, And both are real shooters. From everything you read about them I must be extremely lucky to have a pair of unicorns. Both are smooth, light and very accurate.
