gday all i'm about to start a build and would like to know if anyone here has mixed

Cerakote colours burnt bronze & graphite black.

i am looking to get a colour that in low light looks very dark but in sunlight shows the

burnt bronze like shark skin .

i have seen net pics of up to 80BB 20% black but it wasn't much darker than the bronze .

cheers Darren

I have not done the particular color you are looking for but the graphite black really adds a lot of black. When making a custom color I usually try small amounts in proportion to what I'm looking for. Remember it will look slightly different once dry. I would try a mix of 5-6ML burnt bronze with 4ml Graphite black and see where that gets you after test spraying something. Adjust from there after seeing your results.
Burnt Bronze is an awesome color I have worked with a bunch and it really changes depending on lighting.

this is exactly what i want but it will have to be dark as the rifle will be put in a black with

grey spider web stock .

The first two are burnt bronze. The scope rings have since been coated also. The suppressor is Coyote Tan for contrast. The multi cam is just thrown in for contrast.

i was thinking more along the lines of this

i hope the owner don't mind me posting pics here .

I would like the colour a lot darker in the pic of he action

cheers D

Thanks for posting those. Pretty nice. I can see where you might want to try to put some graphite black with it. Tough call. It's pretty darn nice straight up too. Looking forward to seeing your results.

I don't think those two colors will go the way you want. I would do 75%bb 15%black 10% tungsten. I think the black plus tungsten will get you the type of shine. You are going for.

sounds interesting punisher.

this is pretty close and is 60% BB 40% GB a pity none of the pics are in direct sunlight

again not my rifle but i think i will try 50-50.

and just see how it go's .

That does look great.

I am wondering if sniper grey would be a better add. The black is going to be 100% mat textured, so your combo is always going to look like a flat shade of grey with no shine. You could try a dark grey+ bronze+ stainless to give it a little pop and flare.

Either way it will look great, that's just what I think based on your description.
