Bull Down - Colorado Elk Hunt

Was lucky enough to harvest this guy on the last morning of first season. Shot was 775 yards up a 20 degree incline, so dial to yardage was roughly 725. One shot and the bull dropped and started tumbling down the hill. 300 Ultra Mag with 230gr Bergers.

Here is a picture from where I took the shot. The red arrow is where the bull was.

Thanks everyone. And yes, I have been very impressed with the Berger Hybrids. Switched to them last year and so far I'm three for three on two bull elk and a buck antelope. This was by far the longest shot. The other two were inside of 100 yards and every time it has performed awesome with one shot kills.
