I am thinking of putting a new Boyd's FT Thumbhole Stock on my Remington 700 SPS to help it have some more weight .Have any of you guys have or ever use a Boyd's stock?gun)
I've one on my R700 SPS in 22-250. It is a little heavier than the factory stock. I would venture a guess that on your 300RUM it will be a bit more ergonomic and focus the recoil a lot better than the factory stock, as well as the added weight. The recoil pad is pretty anemic on them so an aftermarket may be in order.
Yep i think that the Boyd's Stock will help me manage the recoil much better . I will be using the Barnes TTSX 200 grn BT Polytip Bullets for this ugun)p coming deer season
