Bought CCI 250 instead of CCI 200 oops

So can I make these work and still work Varget up to a good high FPS load in a 26" barrel with 168 gr Berger Classic Hunters without pressure issues? I don't see much use in 308 and am wondering if I should try to return/exchange them for the 200's

It will work but you would be better off to exchange or return them if you can get 200s.

It is best not to substitute without working up a new load, but in some cases primers are so close
they can be substituted if you are not using a max load.

Hear are some heat indexes of different primers for comparison that might help.

As you can see the 250s are much hotter than the 200s.

Well they were nice enough to let me return them and get 200. Thanks Lohman Arms!!
it wasn't the heat as much as I worried about the pressure issues since I will be looking for a node higher up the FPS ladder.
