I've been thinking of getting this in a 270 to help with factory load accuracy. I like the idea that it can help with most factory loads giving you a wider selection of ammo available for a non reloader like me. I'm sure like always some loads will be better than others but it seems you will have more options

this will also be used for deer hunting so I was thinking of getting the conventional recoil model or have both...not sure if I want synthetic stock or not and also stainless steel vs blued.....

I have an A-Bolt II Composite Stalker 7RM with a BOSS on it. The BOSS really works. It kicks like a .243.

Did the BOSS help? It came from the factory with the BOSS system on it, so I haven't shot it without it on there.

It is very accurate. I handload also, so I got my loads tuned in pretty nicely for it.

For a factory sporter barreled rifle in a tupperware stock it shoots really good. So much so that I will, most likely, leave it alone and not rebarrel it until it needs it.
