I was only able to get those velocities I posted above with Winchester brass and a slightly compressed load of Big Game. When I switched to Peterson brass I switched to Varget.

I developed a Hail Mary load in my 7-08 with IMR 4350 pushing 140 AB's that was very accurate but not enough fps. I was in a jam with time and not shooting more than 200 yards. Now shooting 120 HH pushed by Varget with plenty of speed and accuracy out of 22" barrel. I did try RL17 and worked but not as good as Varget. I still have a box of Speer 130gr with RL17 and it's pretty good.
I have used Big Game, but find it Temp Sensitive. Varget is your huckleberry in 7mm-08, followed by any of the 4350's.

If it shoots this good, it can stick to whatever it wants. Ive never had it stick to anything with the exception of lilgun and zip. High NG content does make it sticky. Absolute hammers arrived today. New round of testing soon to start
