Ramshot Big Game Reviews?

Anyone use Ramshot Big Game for reloading? I am loading for 308, 30-06, 7mm-08 and 6.5 Creedmoor. The local distributor had some in stock and saw that it can be loaded with most of my calibers. Only other thing they had I wanted was Varget as my 308s love it.

Any reviews would be appreciated.

I found it gave me higher velocities in 7-08 with 140 grain Accubonds.

I used it in my 7-08, it's fine under 300 yards. But couldn't get consistent numbers and groups would open past that. The temp swings are too much during hunting season for my area. Switched to varget

I've used it in my 308's for 150 grain and above. I'm a ar-15 pig hunter and a 308 case isn't big enough to use for my farvorite. Speer TNT Varmint Bullets 30 Caliber (308 Diameter) 125 Grain Jacketed Hollow point.

65 grains becomes way too compressed just to get 3200 fps. TAC at 51 gr is better for sub 150's. Pigs really don't like it. Head, neck, frontal chest, and heart lung is DRT

Big game is the no mans land of the powder burn rate chart because it's faster than IMR 4350. But it is good for heavy 223 rem like 69 gr and higher.

Actually I was interested in big game after I looked at nosler reloading data for the 120 ballistic tip for my 7-08. Very good velocity for 120 and 140 from the 7-08.

I tested H4350 and Varget prior to using Big Game. I switched bullets to 131 gr Hammer Hunters and Varget now.

I am reloading 06 for a buddy of mine. Figured it would be good for that and might fins another caliber that likes it.
