I'm looking for a new scope. I'd like to get an FFP for under $2k. I was out on Optics Planet and the only ones I seemed to find for the Leupold Mark 4's. Nothing against Leupold, but they weren't top on my list when I wanted to spend that much.

I believe the Vortex HD's come in at exactly $2k but hoping to spend a bit less.

Any ideas?

Paul

SWFA Super Snipers are a great value.
Vortex Viper PST are also very good. The Razor line
is more expensive but very good too.
Nightforce makes a good scope.

Lots to choose from in the $2k range!

It depends on where your priorities lie I guess. I have a personal issue with buying imported scopes (or anything for that matter) it's a difficult choice for sure.

What magnification range do you want/need?

You can pick up a used NightForce F1 for under 2k it is 15x (these are not made anymore, which is why I state used)-

If you search daily, you can find a used USO 3.2-17 for a little less than 2k (I paid right at 2k for mine).

I have a Leupold MK4 M5A, TMR (with the 34mm tube- Auto Locking Turret) sitting here doing nothing  It's been a solid scope as well.

vortex razor without question for 2,000 price range. I have a razor and nightforce nxs, vortex glass is as good or slightly better, the feel of turrets on nightforce I like better. If the nxs 5.5x22 was ffp and 2,000 I would not have bought the razor but I deffinatly have no complaints with the razor so far. It's repeatable, great glass, built well.

I bought the Leupold for my packer for weight reasons and features,TMR is fav reticle. I bought a like new SS 5-20X50 SS on here used for $1000 and it is my fav for the money.Like the 10 mil per rev and the 10 mil reticle, most are 5.NF doent make a 20 x I dont think until you hit atacr or beast. And they are way over budget.Used USO would be my pick if only one or a March,One sold here today or recent for just over 2000.

That was not my March, but I did pick one up this week, very slightly used, for $1850. 3-24x42 with illuminated reticule (low) mil/mil. Scope has amazing glass and power for its size and weight.
