If this has been discussed already I apologize. Have any of you used the berger 22 cal 70 grain vld bullets on coyotes, and if so what kind of results are you getting? Thanks

I never shot a coyote with them but had good results on deer. Typical Berger penetrate a couple inches then come apart. Judging by how much deer they went through I'd expect exits on coyotes.

I spoke to a Berger Tech last year about this bullet and was told that the 70 VLD probably wouldn't expand reliably on coyotes at .223 velocities. He recommended one of their flat based varmint bullets.
