Is there anyone out there that can help me ASAP. I desperately need to load up ammo tomorrow for my 300 PRC. The information that Berger sent me is dangerous.

I have N570/R33/H1000/N565 to use.

It's ALSO a short 22" Bartlein barrel if that matters for burn rate. I have no idea where to even start.

Thanks

This is a start for 215's with n570 and 565. I just started loading for my 300 prc but I started with 181 hammers so I don't have any real world data for the heavy bullets.

What do you mean that the information Berger sent you was dangerous? As far as I know, they never send anything; you have to call them for the info.

N570 and 215 Hybrids were the winning combo in my 300 PRC.

Use the info 6.5saum attached and DO NOT use loads suggested by Berger. I can't believe they are still putting out that dangerous load data. I don't know what you were told, but Berger gave me a starting load for the 300 PRC that was beyond a safe maximum!

No just email them. Calling was back in the day. Now on their website just email them as instructed and they reply back with an included load data

Same. With H 1000, N570, and several others, their starting load was what others are getting for a max load.

Would you mind sharing how much n570 you used? I'm curious about this combo as well. I understand what is safe in your rifle and it's not a starting point in anything else.

For reference my custom 31" barrel shoots the Hornady factory loaded 225gr ELD match about 140fps faster than my Browning western hunter in 26". Also, I have not run the 230gr or N570 in the browning So use the following data at your discretion. I have found that my Browning pressures up quick compared to this 31". I've pushed 250 a tips to nearly 3000fps with signs of pressure ... BUT if you want to use my data, I would think your velocities would be about 30fps/inch slower and I WOULD start low.

31" barrel with 1:8 twist 5R
Berger 230gr HYB TGT
VV N570
FED 215M
LAST PIC IS A GROUP @ 500M
