Has some one on here used the bergara b14 hunter, and if so I would like to here your thoughts on it. I am looking in to gitting one soon in 300 win mag, and I would like to put 180gr berger vlds in it thanks

The stocks are great on them and they have a 3 position safety for unloading rifle with the safety on. The trigger is good, better then a Savage Accutrigger and just a step down from the trigger on my Tikka T3.

Over all I think the rifle is easily the best in its price range and better then a Tikka because the stock is aftermarket quality. Off the shelf, its Trigger or Stock doesn't need replaced like many other $700 rifles.

Another big plus (to me) is it doesn't use a removable magazine. It feeds very well compared to the cheap rifles with magazines and the action is fairly smooth (reminds me of my Winchester Model 70 pre 64 action).

I have the HMR version and I have a hunter on the way in .300 Win. That'll be 4 Bergara's. My buddies who I have let shoot my rifles are now Bergara owner's too. Great accuracy and well built. Can't say enough good about the guns or the guys who work there. You won't be disappointed. I have purchased all my rifle's, even though I do work for Nikon, I have to buy my firearms.

I just got the b14, everything about it is great, have not shot it yet and I will put the resots on here when i shoot it.If it was a $1000 gun it would be worth it
