Bell and Carlson cracking due to mounting a foreend rail

Hello everyone, I just purchased a Bell and Carlson stock for my Tikka T3 300WSM. I want to mount a fore end rail for my Atlas bipod and called Bell and Carlson and they said people crack the stock by doing that and the warranty is void also. I figured the warranty would be voided but that doesn't bother me, but what does bother me is the fact the stock may crack just by adding a 2nd screw and t-nut.
Anybody here cracked a stock by adding a rail?

BTW, I have a Seekins 2.5" spacing SRS Rail for bell and Carlson
