Hi from PA. Been lurking and reading for a while. I took some time off these last couple of years as life got more hectic, but started to get the itch to be more active hunting lately. I want to eventually head West for elk, but need to get back into the game first. I am glad to see that this forum is still fairly active with lots of information.

So here is what got me going again and to now participate. I joined LRH back in 2010. I have several rifles to use, I think for elk long range, a 30-338 WM, and a Blaser R8 and R93 platform to add a barrel for such purposes. I was also potentially looking to build on a Impact Precision or Lone Peak action a 6.5PRC. It got me thinking and I figured I would jump back on here to get feedback and commentary to guide my decisions. Thanks for all the welcoming words.
