Barrel and action question

So i received a custom barrel that is already cut and threaded for a Remington 700 action. Are there any actions out there beside the remington that this will fit on?

I think it will fit a Pierce action. Not positive.

I think Stiller actions have the same thread. You might have trouble getting the numbers to work out depending on the recoil lug thickness.

^what he said about lug thickness. This is what will jam you up and throw the headspace off

Most Remington clones have the same thread pitch, but you'll either need to know the specifics of the action the barrel was threaded for, or be willing to recut the chamber and shoulder of the barrel to have yours fit.

In either case you need gauges if you don't have a gunsmith do the install.

Most Remington clones will have a longer tenon. You will need to have the action you're using measured, compared to the barrel, and cut the tenon, lengthen threads, and deepen chamber to fit.
