My son shot this hog with a 7 mm RM, 150 grain Barnes TTSX at 250 yards. The hog just rolled over after the impact. The attached pictures show the recovered bullet under the off side hid. Nice hog! My son is using the TSX in 308, 150 grain, out of a 308 AR10 for hogs, and it works well. We haven't recovered a bullet yet.....

I shoot the same gun, same bullet with the same results. Hog killer ! Just worked up a new load with 131grain Hammer Hunters, first mono that got me back to the same accuracy as lead. Just got back from WY with 4 kills, one out to 460yards, love the results ! Hogs beware.

That's a toad of a pig and congratulations to your son. I shot Barnes for years and the only one I ever recovered was a mature 6X6 bull that was countering frontal shot at 430 yds that went through the left shoulder and was found in the right hip. Because of this forum, several years ago, I gave the Hammers a try and because of the accuracy gain, I switched every over to them. The terminal performance has been exceptional as well. Here's a pic of the only Barnes I ever recovered (180 TSX 30-378 Wby) Congratulations and hope you both are able to make many more memories!

I have used the 55gr TSX on pigs and it punches way above its weight and size. Shot 5 or 6 at the feeder behind the equipment shed a few months back, biggest was 250ish, smallest about 150ish, 3 died in the yard the rest made it into the pasture and died based on the number of buzzards hanging out.
