Anybody reload Barnes brass from factory fired ammo? What your thoughts on it? I have a fair bit in 30-06 that I sorted and weight was very consistent, it was guide a bit heavier than the heaviest Hornady brass that I got.

That is correct remington has always produced the brass for them. Answer was right here on this forum matter of fact.

don't know for sure who makes it but I would guess it is probably better than Hornady

Sure would seem like remintong makes it to me. I bought a few buckets of Remington 300 BO and the brass said Barnes on it.

Wish Remington brass was built like barnes brass and made it more available barnes brass very consistent
I've only used it in .300 Winchester Magnum and other batches of brass may vary from mine. It's at least as good as anything else I've used, but capacious in comparison with Winchester brass. I use H4831 with a 200 grain Sierra bullet. In Barnes brass, it takes 1.5 grs. more powder to get the same velocity and accuracy as I get with Winchester brass.

I have a large problem believing R-P makes Barnes brass.. I have nothing but disgust for R-P brass due to its utter unreliable weights, brittleness, and propensity to split after one reloading if not splitting on the first firing. the very fact that Barnes brass is everything R-P is not makes me believe someone else had to have made Barnes brass. I have 2,000 rounds of it in 4 different calibers. I have no complaints with a single piece of Barnes brass.
I have a friend whos brother worked for barnes until a year ago and he swore Remington made their brass and if you weigh them they are identical I use them and Remington both in my ultra mag and they load and shoot exactly the same, I have never had problems with Remington brass splitting only after several reloads and might come across one here an there but not many might be your rifle.
I thought Remington made Barnes brass, but certainly don't know that for sure.
I've used quite a variety of rifle brass since 1965, (much of it Remington) and haven't seen any brand that was prone to neck splitting until it was just about worn out and that's usually been with cast bullet brass that had been loaded many times. However, it's reasonable to assume an inferior batch of brass from any manufacturer may reach the market on occasion.
