Who manufactures the 300rum brass for Barnes. I've seen rumors of remington but wasn't sure. Anyone know for sure who makes barnes headstamp brass?

Remington owned barnes. Since sierra bought barnes i have no idea who makes the brass

I've reloaded a fair amount of Barnes 300 Win Mag brass, and the neck thickness and weight have varied a substantial amount from one box to the next. Enough that I threw in the towel and started using Lapua when they began manufacturing for the win.

Another good reason to load your own ammo. At least then a guy can know the source of his brass cases.
