I am. We shall see. I need to weigh the action and barrel. Scope weight is listed at 3.26lbs. I imagine the Mirage ULR chassis is 5-7lbs.Aren't you aiming for sub 20lbs? Would be pretty awesome

You do remember the golden rule:"always carry enough gun"Aren't you aiming for sub 20lbs? Would be pretty awesome
I called and asked about this, they said they have tested the individual bullets in ballistic gel.If you look at the different caliber Lazers they list different opening velocities, not sure if that is a typo or different calibers open down to lower speeds than others.
I've got a reamer when you're ready!I have considered building a 37 xc because of that bullet ha ha. WHOP!
Ha that is tempting....but this year I'll be testing the Apex bullets. If I ever get a 37 xc built, maybe I'll test out the 37 cal SBDII's! Lol. Would be quite a cross canyon elk smasher! And those pronghorn....they might need a 37 cal as well ha ha!I've got a reamer when you're ready!
I have some of the .338 DB2's I can test in my 33XC and leave it with you in October if you want to smash something with it. You'd get more use out of it than I would this season.
I haven't seen a 7 twist 7prc yet.Anyone played around with the 160 SBD2's in a 7PRC yet?
Just waiting for my buddy to build his new reamer holder and I'll be running a 7 twist SAAMI 7PRC, so I'll be the guinea pig.I haven't seen a 7 twist 7prc yet.
What cartridge are you using in your 375?Just waiting for my buddy to build his new reamer holder and I'll be running a 7 twist SAAMI 7PRC, so I'll be the guinea pig.
Finally done with my 375 build. Reached out to Applied Ballistics to see if they had any updated data and they just recommended I use quick load. Well, I don't have QL or a laptop with windows, so I'll just do it the old fashioned way and reference what they have already posted in the article. I'll be testing the 365 and 390's in my 375.
Once it warms up I'll get to the range. A few different powders to try, but the primer selection will be minimal. As always, I will post my data once I'm completed.
I will also be putting an 8 twist barrel on my 338. Interested to see how the 275's shoot in it.
It's a 375 EnABELR.What cartridge are you using in your 375?
There are several powders you can use such as H50, 24N41,N570, RlL33, N568, Retumbo The latter two are best in shorter barrels (30-34").It's a 375 EnABELR.
