Picked up a whole bunch of .308 VLD's from Marshall today (168, 185 and 210 gr) and am wondering if anyone has done expansion/penetration tests with them or can comment on "on game" performance?
Going to work up loads for my 308 Win and 300 Win Mag and do some testing of my own (when it cools off a bit), but would like to hear what others think of these for hunting. He did mention the 210's have thick jackets and may not expand very good, but then he smiled and said "Shoot'em in the head!!"
