anyone know if this rifle will shoot 70gr or heavier bullets well

The 22-250 with 1:14 twist shooting 70 gr. is grouping better than most folks say they will.

there is always naysayers and I'm always playing with test loads and usually get what I'm after loadwise
I'll dig up the targets they are in my loading room .....somewhere lol
in the middle of setting up a new loading room just bought a new place up in the hills here so it's a bit of a mess ,

I was quite dumbfounded at the results I got on paper didn't and hadn't thought past 55grn with the .22/250 untill I read years ago in some gun book someone had tried the Speer very successfully
So I thought I would try them out and am very pleased with my results.
The 70 grn Speer absolutely floored pigs I've hit with them tuck the pill just under the ear DRT , and leaving the barrel around 2500-2600fps if I remember correctly I'll dig up the test results as well ,
What they do to dogs and foxes , well if y'all after a pelt don't bother walking over to the animal
One other thing I've always had a .22/250 in one brand or another very very capable rifle and I use it as my main work rifle got my first one when I was 14 , I'm now knocking on the door of 62

Head or neck shots is what I take with my .223 .They fall down and don't move.I also use .308 and 30-30 for heart-lung shots. It's all good. This is on whitetail deer and hogs.

Went over to the farm today in between showers got 54mm of rain today
Had to test the new mag in the .223 wasn't preforming to good loading the 75 ELD-M's
Works great , feeds fantastic, now to put it all back in my stock.
Took a couple of pictures one of one of our pet emus , I fire a shot they come over to see what all the noise is lol

I have two 1-9 twist 223's a 16" and 20" they will both stabilize 75gr. A 16" 1-12 twist I can say for sure will not. I shoot mostly long range using 75-77gr and when barrel shopping I prefer a 1-8 twist because no question they will stabilize. I wouldn't count out the stealth it may very well stabilize the 75 but even if it doesn't the 69gr are very good bullets also.
