any input on a det. mag system for a rem 700 in 204?

i have a 204 rem 700 varmint in a h.s.precision p.s.s. stock with the original 204 bdl bottom metal. has anyone ever switched one over to a det. mag system? i am thinking the wyatt's 223 kit might work, or maybe badger bottom metal that uses the AI 223 mag.

any thoughts on these two systems, or recommendations for something different?

any help is appreciated!
