Antipation of first custom rifle

I would like some opinions on my first custom rifle.

Rem 700 Action/W all of the usual accuracy mods
27 1/2" Broghton SS barrel 1:10 chambered in 338 LM
Kiff bolt w/ Bagger Ord extractor
H.S. Bottom metal
Ops Inc Break
H.S. fully adjustable tatical stock
Nightforce 20 MOA base
Burris XTR Rings
Leupold 8.5-25X50 LR

The smith told me that all of the parts are in and is should be a clouple of weeks before it is done. I CANT WAIT!!

sounds like some excellent choices. Aren't the burris xtr rings aluminum? Not sure if that will be a factor I have never used aluminum rings before.

Gonna be a long couple of weeks,but it'll all be worth it. Almost the same feeling as a kid gets on New Years Eve.

I've never had any problems with the Burris rings in the past, but I've havent tried them on any thing as big as a 338 LM.

In a couple of weeks I'll be able to know for sure.

The biggest scoped I have is a 7wsm so I have no experience there. Hopefully somebody with some experience will chime in TPS and Nightforce make excellent rings.
