Another VX6 question

I see the new Vx6 scopes are coming out with push button lockable turrets, my question is can you use the new lockable turrets on the previous model VX6's ?

I e-mailed Leupold a couple of weeks ago and they said that they new zero lock turrets would be retrofittable to the non-ZL scopes but they didn't know when it would be available or how much it would cost.
