Browning brass. What is the deal with this stuff? Also, How about the old WW Super brass?

I got a bunch of each from my uncle. It was some old reloads he did when he had a .300 Win Mag. They were loaded with 150 grain pills, I shoot 180's in mine, So a buddy and I punished ourselves killing rocks with the 100 rounds I had :D

Willierower,

I don't believe Browning ever made brass, so I suspect that Albert is correct here; contract brass made for them by another supplier. Norma has done a lot of this sort of OEM work (including the 300 Win Mag Lapua cases) over the years. I think he's probably spot on, and yes, it should be good stuff if that's the case.

In my 300 win mag I use both WW and Remington, H-4350 near max, and Nosler 180 gr PT for hunting. Sierra BT and Speer for practice.
