Air Compressor - Piping for Gunsmithing Equipment

When I built my shop I originally put pvc inside the walls, Lasted about 3 years, I beleive water built up inside and the sub zero temps here broke it. Any way I put 5/8 truck air line in the ceiling and did drops down the wall to manifolds, From there I used a 1/2 system I believe called Maxair, Which came with small manifolds to be placed in locations where you would need air. At the same time I put a very good Air filtration system in, As I do quite a bit of cerakote. Truck air line is DOT approved and will last even outside in the sun and in any temp and will hold a lot of pressure. Might not be as pretty as inside the walls, But I should never have a problem again, And I was warned about PVC, But others said they had no problems.

Now, I did run pex underground from my shop to my container for air, And I have not had a problem with that yet, It's been about 4 years on it, The jury is still out on that.
