300 win with a 215 Berger. Unless you have a 338. Then load up the 300 Bergers and go for it.

The 300 win with a 215 Berger would be super bad medicine for a wolf way out there past 1000. But if they are on the next ridge sunning a mile away I will take the 338 hands down.

try a 6.5 Weatherby. It's a 270 Weatherby necked down to 6.5mm. Stuff some 140 VLDs and enjoy your hunt.
