80% arms AR10

[Snowrun]

I am brand new to AR platforms and looking at the 80%Arms lowers. They appear to be Gen I which looks like it may be difficult to find compatible uppers, etc Gen I vs II vs LR308. A lot of info out there but not much as far as clear delineation of what is interchangeable. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? looking to build .308 or 7mm-08 20-24" on an AR platform.

Got this somewhat sorted out. Used an upper from Tactical Ammunition with a 20" Black Hole Weaponry polygonal barrel. Pretty pleased overall.

Nice shooting, you should be pleased with that. I have a number of AR's and they all shoot well.
