7PRC 175 Eldx

Initial testing of the 7prc today was .5 moa @ 1000 yards. Not bad but no improvement over my 7 wsm. Actually 7wsm is about 20 fps faster then the 7 prc. But because of factory loads from hornady I see it doing well. I do believe it has a average stability factor at 8 twist. As ive seen from the 1000 yard groups at 30 inHg, But I will re twist it and test it before we start production,

Are those both factory loads or handloads for wsm and factory for prc?
Most reports I've seen for factory 175 eldx PRC ammo is 3000+ from 24" barrels after break in.
Id like to see some gel tests of the 175 eldx if you get a chance…please

If those loads for the 7 wsm aren't factory then they're very mild handloads.
I was getting over 3000 fps with 180s from a 22" barrel in a custom throated 7 wsm

I'm about to order another 7wsm barrel. I've been impressed with performance. Was "expecting" PRC to beat it by 100fps or so but that wouldn't be worth the reason to jump ship (maybe brass would).

My 23" WSM load with 175 eldx is right there at 2975fps. No pressure. I loaded to 3000 but pulled it back for a better grouping. Plenty fast for me.
