Hi all,
1st time poster. I'm wondering where I can find load data for LRAB 150 grain bullets using imr 7977? I've looked on Noslers website & couldn't find any data for this bullet with any specified powder. Obviously I understand it's new. Just looking for a safe starting charge. Any input would be helpful. Thanks & keep shooting straight. gun)

I'd contact Nosler via email, but the last time I emailed them (which was probably early 2014, I still haven't gotten a reply back... Maybe you'll get a better response.

The only thing Nosler I use anymore is their brass.

I would look at the Berger 168 VLD bullets. They hammer deer. Shoot Berger an email asking for load data, and if they have that data, they'll email it to you. They are VERY customer oriented and will email you back as soon as they get an answer for you. I've emailed them several times, and I always get a super-fast response.

If they do have that data for the 168 VLD, can you please post it up on here for those of us interested in trying out 7977 in our 7RM's as well.

Their velocities are pretty low for the powder charges I'm using. Like, a couple hundred FPS slow for my 7mm RemMag loads with 7828 SSC and Berger 168 VLD's...

Their reply:
Hello Kristian,

Thank you for contacting Berger Bullets. We have not had the chance to test with any of the new IMR powders. As soon as we are able, we will start testing. Please check back with us from time to time and we will be more than happy to assist you with your needs. Please do not hesitate to get back with any of us with the Berger Tech. Team if we can be of further assistance for you.

Kind Regards,

Charge weight 64.4-69.2 grains.

68.5 is where I would start. And that should put you around 28-2900 fps depending on your rifle.

I know this isn't what you were asking, but you can't go wrong with Retumbo or H1000! Guys LOVE IMR 7828 as well.
